Opportunity to showcase your artwork at the Deakin University Art Gallery!
A very special exhibition, 50 Years of Collecting, has just opened at the Deakin University Art Gallery, Building FA, Melbourne Burwood Campus. It is on display from now until the 4 April 2025. This exhibition has been compiled in celebration of Deakin’s 50th anniversary and takes audiences on a journey through 50 years of collecting artworks.
Deakin University students, staff and alumni are invited to view the exhibition, and submit an expression of interest (EOI) for a new artwork they might complete that has been inspired by one of the works on display in the exhibition.
EOIs close on Friday 11 April and can be submitted by completing the EOI form.
Submissions will be reviewed by staff from the Deakin University Art Collection and Galleries Unit, and successful artists will be notified of the outcome on Monday 5 May 2025.
Artists will be paid a small fee to produce their work and the work must be ready to exhibit by 10 October 2025, as it will be included in our last exhibition for the year, Face to Face Revisited.
