What is Studiosity?
Studiosity is an online study support service available for Deakin students that allows you to reach out for assistance at any time convenient for you–24-hours a day, seven days a week. Its easy-to-use dashboard gives you immediate access to online chat sessions or written feedback within 24 hours.

How does it work?
Once you’ve signed up and logged in, Studiosity offers two main services, writing feedback on submitted documents and live chat with a specialist to discuss your study questions.

Writing feedback
If you have an assessment, essay, report or any written draft and would like feedback on structure, spelling or grammar, select to ‘Submit your document’ and follow the prompts.
You’ll receive an email or mobile notification within 24 hours, when your feedback is ready to be viewed. You can even upload your draft before going to bed for the night and can receive feedback by the time you wake up the next morning!
Immediate help session with specialist
If you have a study question or need immediate feedback on your writing, select ‘Connect Now’ and select your subject to chat with the next available specialist. A typical interactive session lasts between 15–20 minutes but will vary depending on your query.
Studiosity allows you to work online in real-time–from any location, at any time of the day–with tutors specialising in a range of disciplines, including:
- writing, English skills and concepts
- maths
- science
- essential skills such as research or study tips
Have your assessment information or instructions and your questions ready before connecting with the specialist to make the most of your time.
