Apply to join Deakin’s team competing in the CaseIT competition in Canada in February 2025!
What is it?
CaseIT is the world’s premier international undergraduate Management Information Systems (MIS) case competition.
A team of four Deakin Business School undergraduate students will be selected to travel to Vancouver, Canada to test their skills against students from around the world at this weeklong event. You’ll also have the opportunity to network, explore, learn during this amazing experience.

What it involves
Team members will be selected through an interview process and required to attend academic mentoring workshops leading up to the event in December 2024, January and February 2025.
The team will depart for Canada on Wednesday 12 February and return Saturday 22 February 2025 (dates subject to change based on flight availability).
The Deakin Business School will cover the cost of return flights and accommodation for the competition. You will need to cover costs for transport to and from the airport and for your own meals and incidentals.
Who can apply?
To be eligible to apply you need to:
- be enrolled as a current Deakin Business School undergraduate student
- be age 18 years old or over
- have a passport valid to enter Canada at the time of booking, approximately 15 December 2024, and for at least six months from the intended date of arrival on 12 February 2025 and be able to enter Canada as per the visa rules that apply to you.
