Mark down these important dates for Trimester 2 2024
Are you studying in Trimester 2 (T2)? Make sure you note down the following important dates relevant to you, including timetable and census dates, end-of-unit assessment periods, and University holidays and closure dates.
Key dates for T2
- Monday 17 June – STAR timetable opens 10am for preference entry for campus based units
- Wednesday 26 June – STAR closes at 10am for sorting of timetable preferences
- Thursday 27 June – STAR re-opens at 10am for timetable viewing and adjustment
- Monday 1 July – Unit sites available in CloudDeakin.
- Monday 1 July – Friday 5 July – OWeek for all students
- Monday 8 July – Week 1 starts, teaching commences
- Monday 12 August – Sunday 18 August – Intra-trimester break
- Thursday 15 August – Census date (last day to finalise aspects of your enrolment and fee obligations)
- Monday 26 August – End-of-unit assessment and exam timetable released on StudentConnect
- To be confirmed – Commonwealth Assistance Notices (eCAN) released on StudentConnect
- Monday 9 September – Last day to withdraw from a unit with a Withdrawn Late (WL) listed on academic record
- Tuesday 10 September – Withdrawn Fail (WN) applies for all units withdrawn from this date
- Friday 27 September – Teaching period ends, University closed for AFL Grand Final Eve public holiday
- Monday 30 September – Friday 4 October – End-of-unit assessment study period
- Monday 7 October – Friday 18 October – End-of-unit assessment and exam period
- Friday 1 November – Results released at 10.30am
- Monday 9 December – Supplementary and special end-of-unit assessment and exam timetable released on StudentConnect
- Thursday 6 February 2025 – Friday 14 February 2025 – Supplementary and special end-of-unit assessment and exam period
