The 7th Geelong Pride Film Festival (GPFF) is nearly here! Now one of the largest regional LGBTIQA+ film festivals in Australia, the 2024 event will showcase a specially curated selection of feature films and short films from Australia and around the world.
Held from Thursday 18 to Sunday 28 April, the festival will present a series of cinema screenings at the Pivotonian Cinema, Village Geelong and Platform Arts, in addition to online streaming options.

The GPFF is an annual non-profit, community-run festival that screens contemporary and classic LGBTIQA+ themed films in Geelong. GPFF also supports local filmmakers through prizes and commissions.

As a principal sponsor of the festival, Deakin has a limited number of free passes for students to attend screenings of feature films or short film packages. You can choose either cinema screenings at the festival (excluding the Opening Night and Festival finale) or online screenings that can be streamed on demand (within Australia).
