International students, want some advice on settling into Australia?

Welcome to your first trimester at Deakin! We hope you are excited about getting to know your campus and beginning your studies!
If you’re still feeling a bit unsettled, or would just like some tips on how to make the most of your time in Australia, make sure you join our Adjusting to Life in Australia session on your campus.
- Burwood: Thursday 21 March, 3.30–5pm.
- Waterfront: Wednesday 20 March, 3.30–5pm.
- Waurn Ponds: Tuesday 19 March, 3.30–5pm.
- Warrnambool: Tuesday 19 March, 3.30–5pm.

Our International Student Connect program gives you lots of other opportunities to meet new people, and to get to know Deakin and the local community. If this is your first trimester as an international student at Deakin, we encourage you to try as many activities as possible – you’ll make new friends, practise your English skills, explore your campus, discover Deakin’s support services and learn about Australian culture.
