Get a head start on your dream career with DeakinTALENT Employer Month!

It’s a competitive employment market out there. To give yourself the best chance of securing your dream job when you graduate, it’s never too early to start thinking about your career and learn how to stand out from the crowd.

DeakinTALENT Employer Month is a series of tailored events where you can meet with top employers, learn about their ideal candidates, discover some recruitment secrets and ask those burning career questions.

This combination of online and on-campus events, running from Tuesday 5 to Tuesday 26 March, is just what you need to start preparing for your future career, so check out what’s on in your area of interest! Registrations are essential, so click on each relevant link to secure your spot.

Applying for Roles in Series

Hear directly from top graduate recruiters about what they look for in candidates, what a typical day in a graduate role is like, and how to best prepare for your career. Join us for either the Applying for Roles in: Graduate & Vacation Programs or Applying for Roles in: Health session. Some of the employers on these panels include EY, John Holland Group and Linfox.

Beyond the Degree: Business and Arts Alumni Panel

Join us for an inspiring online panel event featuring four Business and Arts Alumni sharing their career journeys from university to present success. Learn about unique career paths and get career motivation in just one session!

Early Careers Employer Showcase

Come and talk to prospective employers at Burwood, Waurn Ponds and Waterfront campuses about their early career and graduate programs. Whether you’re in your first year and just beginning your journey, getting closer to graduating or wanting to consider a change in your career pathway, this event is tailored just for you.
