Mark down these important dates for Trimester 1 2024
Are you studying in Trimester 1 (T1)? Make sure you record the following important dates relevant to you, which include timetable and census dates, end-of-unit assessment periods, and University holidays and closure dates.
Key dates for T1
- Monday 5 February – STAR timetable opens 10am for preference entry for campus based units
- Thursday 15 February – STAR re-opens at 10am for timetable viewing and adjustment
- Wednesday 14 February – STAR closes at 10am for sorting of timetable preferences
- Monday 26 February – Unit sites available in CloudDeakin.
- Monday 26 February – Friday 1 March – OWeek for all students
- Monday 4 March – Week 1 starts, teaching commences
- Friday 29 March – Sunday 7 April – Easter vacation / Intra-trimester break
- Wednesday 3 April – Census date (last day to finalise aspects of your enrolment and fee obligations for T1)
- Monday 22 April – End-of-unit assessment and exam timetable released on StudentConnect
- Sunday 28 April – Commonwealth Assistance Notices (eCAN) for T1 released on StudentConnect
- Monday 6 May – Last day to withdraw from a T1 unit with a Withdrawn Late (WL) listed on academic record
- Tuesday 7 May – Withdrawn Fail (WN) applies for all units withdrawn from this date
- Friday 24 May – T1 teaching period ends
- Monday 27 May – Friday 31 May – End-of-unit assessment study period
- Monday 3 June – Friday 14 June – End-of-unit assessment and exam period
- Thursday 4 July – T1 results released
- Wednesday 17 July – T1 supplementary and special end-of-unit assessment and exam timetable released on StudentConnect
- Monday 29 July – Friday 2 August – T1 supplementary and special end-of-unit assessment and exam period
