Are you an English as an additional language student? If you’re looking for ways to continue developing your English proficiency while you study, we encourage you to join the English language development sessions available to you at Deakin for the upcoming study period.
Developing Strategies for English Language Learners are sessions designed for students either at undergraduate or postgraduate levels of study. You’ll learn more about strategies you can use to develop your academic English while you complete your degree.
Developed by the Academic Support team, the session is delivered online and includes:
- resources and activities
- Zoom seminar sessions
- feedback on your assessments
- individualised support with a Language and Learning Adviser.
In these sessions, you’ll also be introduced to a range of academic support services available to you at Deakin.
