Listen to the latest Respect. Belong. Thrive podcast for Transgender Awareness Week
It’s Transgender Awareness Week (November 13–19), which represents a chance to celebrate trans pride and for allies to learn how to elevate the voices of the trans community. Transgender Day of Remembrance, on 20 November, further honours the memory of transgender people whose lives were lost in acts of anti-transgender violence and we remember those who blazed trails before us, to whom we owe a debt of gratitude.
This week, it’s also the ideal time to educate ourselves and those around us about gender diversity, the importance of being a trans ally and what that entails.
