The Deakin Melbourne Boomers have commenced their 23–24 WNBL campaign on the road, and with two wins under their belt, we can’t wait to welcome them home on 19 November. This season will mark a decade-long partnership with Deakin and Australia’s longest-running elite women’s sport team.
To celebrate, we are giving away two double-passes to nearly every Deakin Melbourne Boomers home game (valued at $78). That’s right, you and your friend can experience the electrifying atmosphere and #BringTheBoom this season!

This competition is governed by the laws in force in the State of Victoria, Australia.
The Competition
The competition is free to enter and is strictly open to current Deakin students and staff. Students and staff must complete and submit an entry in the manner set out in the Terms and Conditions.
Staff employed by Deakin University and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter the competition.
Competition period
The competition period for all campuses is from Friday 10 November to Friday 17 November at 5pm.
Prizes
There are sixteen prizes available (two double-passes across eight home games). Each prize consists of two seats to the specified home games.
The total prize pool is $624.
How to enter
Entrants must fill in the form, providing their full name, student number, Deakin email address, mobile phone number and their preferred date.
Selection and notification of winner
Winners will be drawn at random.
Winners will be contacted via email or phone on Tuesday 21 November.
Winners will be published on the Deakin Life blog and social media channels.
Winners’ digital tickets will be emailed to their Deakin email prior to game.
Prizes are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash. Deakin’s decision is final and binding – no correspondence will be entered into. Deakin accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications. Entries will be deemed void if forged, manipulated or tampered with in any way.
Entrants consent to Deakin using their name, image or voice for promotional purposes. Entrants agree to make themselves available for a photograph and interview in the event that theirs is the winning entry and if requested by Deakin.
Winners consent to their name and photograph being published on Deakin University social media and other digital channels if requested to in any and all forms as determined by the Division of Student Services.

Personal Information provided to Deakin University by entrants will be used to notify the winner of the competition. A photograph of the winners may be published on Deakin University’s social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, WordPress and Instagram and other digital channels such as the Deakin Life blog.

Entrants have a right to access their personal information held by the University. Requests for access to personal information are managed under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (Vic).
As a Deakin student, you’re entitled to receive 50% off tickets to any Deakin Melbourne Boomers home game for the 2023–24 WNBL Season.
