Student Central at Waurn Ponds is being temporarily relocated
Due to planned construction works in Building JB at Waurn Ponds, Student Central will be temporarily relocated to Level 2, Building DD from Monday 13 November until late November. See the Waurn Ponds Campus map.
How will this impact you?
You can still access the full range of support available at Student Central while the works are being carried out, but please note some changes to the way we may deliver services at Waurn Ponds during this time.
- On Saturday 11 November, we will only be available for online or phone appointments and enquiries.
- While you may still make face-to-face appointments at Student Central, we ask that you please make a video-call or phone consult where possible as we will have limited spots available to accommodate in-person appointments.
- If you have a face-to-face appointment with a Student Adviser or another staff member during this period of time, please ensure you allow ample time to make your way to Building DD.
- Need to order a Deakin Card? Please go online, fill out the form and upload your image, and we’ll let you know when you can pick it up from Building DD.
- While the works are being completed, you may notice some temporary fencing, intermittent construction noise and tradespeople working. You may also need to take some minor detours, which we will ensure are accessible, if you’re passing the work zones. Please follow all signage and instructions, and take care around work areas, to ensure your safety.
