Ongoing network upgrades: interruptions expected
Deakin is upgrading the internet infrastructure across our campuses and short interruptions are expected through October to December.
The upgrades will occur between 9am and 5pm on selected Saturdays. There will be short, intermittent losses of internet connectivity over the eight-hour period during the upgrade at each campus – we’re expecting outages of approximately 5-10 minutes per area as changes roll out.
The upgrades will be conducted on the following dates and campuses:
- Postponed until early 2024 – Warrnambool Campus
- Postponed until early 2024 – Waterfront Campus
- Saturday 16 December – Waurn Ponds Campus
- Postponed until early 2024 – Burwood Campus.
So, if your internet drops out when you’re on-campus on a Saturday, don’t stress, take a quick break and try jumping in again in 5–10 minutes.
