Wondering what living on campus is like? Try it out with a T3-only lease!
Have you been thinking about living on Res but aren’t sure if it’s for you? We think you’ll love being part of a supportive student community that gives you the perfect balance of study and social activities.
That’s why we’re offering you the opportunity to live on Res in Trimester 3, 2023 without having to commit to a full 12 months. You can sign a T3-only lease while you test the waters and see if you’re happy to make a Deakin residence your home for 2024!
T3 is the only time we offer this kind of short-term lease, which runs from October 2023 to February 2024. Depending on availability, you have the choice of a variety of accommodation options, including:
- single-gender apartments
- designated quiet apartments
- mature-age residences
- designated postgraduate apartments
- apartments designated to specific courses.
There’s no bond to pay – you just pay a month in advance for the duration of your lease or you can pay the full trimester upfront.
Over T3 you don’t have to be studying full time to be living on Res. For those who are not studying over T3, we ask that you are enrolled for T1 2024 in order to stay on Res. Explore your options to live at Melbourne Burwood, Geelong Waurn Ponds, Geelong Waterfront or our Warrnambool Campus.
Most of the other conditions are the same as for a full 12-month lease, so find out more about why you should give the Res lifestyle a try.
