It’s election time! Get involved and have your say on who is elected to student positions on the University Council, Academic Board and faculty boards.
These significant roles bring the student perspective to some important governing bodies at Deakin – members contribute to University decision-making, advocate on student issues and help to create a more vibrant campus environment.

How to vote
If you’re an eligible voter, you’ll have already received an email to your Deakin address containing all the information you need for each election relevant to you. Voting is quick and easy via our electronic voting system – just click the link when you receive your voting email.
Voting is open from today, Monday 25 September and closes at 5pm, Friday 6 October (AEDT). The names of the successful candidates will be available on election websites from Tuesday 17 October.
Voting is entirely voluntary. It’s also confidential, so the University won’t know if you vote.
