Last chance to apply for a trimester abroad in T1, 2024!
Applications to study abroad in Trimester 1, 2024 closed in July, but we’re giving you another chance to apply!
Several exchange programs with key partner universities have limited late-round opportunities, so you can still have an amazing travel experience early next year while you gain course credit at the same time.
To be eligible, you must have:
- a minimum WAM (weighted average mark) of 60
- already completed eight credit points in your current course
- a minimum of three elective spaces available for a T1, 2024 exchange (no matching of majors/core units).
Where could I go?
There are five locations to choose from:
- University of East Anglia, UK – find out more
- Lancaster University, UK – find out more
- Aarhus University, Denmark – find out more
- University of Windsor, Canada – find out more
- Sophia University, Japan – find out more. Eligible students can also apply for a New Colombo Plan (NCP) grant of $7000 for Sophia University only.

I’m interested! What should I do next?
Just email our Deakin Abroad Coordinators with your first preference – but make sure you contact us by Wednesday 20 September, as that’s when these last-round opportunities will close. We’ll then contact you to discuss the next application steps and answer any questions.
So, what are you waiting for? Don’t miss out again!
