Feeling short on time in the mornings? Thanks to your DUSA Advocates, you can now indulge in a mid-week sleep-in and grab a free breakfast on your way to class on Wednesday mornings!
Deakin’s Student Association advocates, who are available to offer you free and confidential academic and personal advice, are available every Wednesday morning to chat to you about anything that might be bothering you or standing in the way of your studies.
So come down to grab a free bite and, if you need to, have a chat with a professional and qualified DUSA Advocate!
Swing past our next Advocacy Breakfast
Student advocates host free breakfasts on campus from 8.30–10.30am at the following locations every Wednesday during Trimester 2 (excluding trimester breaks, public holidays and study weeks).
- Burwood: The Stage on Morgan’s Walk (or Student Central if raining)
- Geelong: DUSA spaces at both Waurn Ponds Campus and Waterfront Campus
- Warrnambool: DUSA Kitchen.
Food and beverage options* may include fresh fruit, cereal, milk, juice, coffee, hot chocolate, and tea, and are individually packaged so you can ‘grab and go’ if you must!

DUSA’s Student Advocacy and Support Services (SASS) can offer you free and confidential help and advice on a range of matters. Our friendly Advocates can support you with services related to:
- academic matters, including academic integrity allegations
- financial counselling
- legal matters
- basic food items, clothing, and sexual health items and personal hygiene products.
- transport assistance
- tax help
- Safe Spaces.
And remember: if we’re not the best point of contact, advocates can also refer you to the relevant internal and external support services for additional support.
