We’re looking to learn more about students beginning their studies at Deakin. We’d love to hear why you chose Deakin and what your experience at Uni has been so far. If you’re interested, you can register to take part in Deakin’s Student Research Project.
Who’s eligible
If you started studying at Deakin in 2023, whether as an undergraduate or postgraduate and international or domestic student, you are welcome to submit an expression of interest. 80 students will be selected to participate as a representative sample of Deakin’s students.
How it works
If chosen, you’ll receive an invitation to join a discussion session. These sessions will be held in late July or early August on campus at Burwood or online virtually over Teams or Zoom. You’ll be put into a small group of students and discussions will go for about an hour.
If you take part in this research, you’ll be compensated by receiving a $120 e-gift card from GiftPay.
You’ll be helping Deakin gain a deeper understanding of the commencing student’s journey. We’ll then be able to better support current and future students in transitioning to further education at Deakin.
