Keep track of these important dates for Trimester 2 2023
Are you studying in Trimester 2 (T2)? Make sure you record the following important dates relevant to you, which include timetable and census dates, end-of-unit assessment periods, and University holidays and closure dates.
Key dates for T2
- Wednesday 28 June – STAR closes at 10am for sorting of timetable preferences
- Thursday 29 June – STAR re-opens at 10am for timetable viewing and adjustment
- Monday 3 July– Unit sites available in CloudDeakin
- Monday 3 to Friday 7 July – OWeek
- Monday 10 July – Week 1 starts, teaching commences
- Tuesday 15 August – Census date (last day to finalise aspects of your enrolment and fee obligations for T2)
- Monday 14 – Sunday 20 August – Intra-trimester break
- Monday 28 August – End-of-unit assessment and exam timetable released on StudentConnect
- Monday 11 September – Commonwealth Assistance Notices (eCAN) for T2 released on StudentConnect
- Monday 11 September – Last day to withdraw from a T2 unit with a Withdrawn Late (WL) listed on academic record
- Tuesday 12 September – Withdrawn Fail (WN) applies for all units withdrawn from this date
- Friday 29 September – T2 teaching period ends
- Monday 9 – Friday 20 October – End-of-unit assessment Study period
- Monday 10 – Friday 21 October – End-of-unit assessment period
- Friday 3 November – T2 results released
- Monday 11 December – T2 supplementary and special exam timetable released on StudentConnect
- Thursday 8 – Friday 16 February 2024 – T2 supplementary and special end of unit assessment period
