Want to see the world as you study? We’re offering eligible Faculty of Health students the opportunity to undertake a two-week immersive study experience to learn about exercise and sport science in Manipal, India!
Commencing in 2024 and hosted at Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), you will get the chance to work with local Exercise and Sport Science students on community initiatives like motor skills testing in schools and the on-campus ‘Exercise is Medicine’ program. You will also have the opportunity work with local university- and community-based athletes at the MAHE sports centre.

This placement is aligned to HSE360 – International Perspectives On Exercise and Sports Science in Trimester 3, 2023, and is open to students enrolled in the following courses:
- H343 Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science
- D394 Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science/Bachelor of Business (Sport Management)
- D391 Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Health Sciences (Exercise Science minor sequence)
- D333 Bachelor of Sport Science/Bachelor of Nutrition Science
- H300 Bachelor of Health Sciences (Exercise major/minor sequence)
- M320 Bachelor of Sport Development
Eligible Australian students may be able to receive a $3000 New Colombo Plan (NCP) grant to assist with program costs.
