Did you attend Open Day before commencing your studies at Deakin? If so, you’ll know what an exciting opportunity it presents for future students and the general public to see what Deakin has to offer.
Open Day is all about encouraging prospective students, their families and the community to engage with staff and students about their study options, tour our campuses, and see our facilities and learning environments first-hand.
Want to help us promote Deakin?
We’re offering current students a range of paid opportunities to help out at Open Day! This is a great way to earn some extra cash, boost your CV and meet new people. We’ll also provide you lunch and an Open Day T-shirt to wear.
There are many different roles you could be assigned to on the day, including:
- assisting with directions
- working at information booths
- working at welcome booths.
If you’d like to work at more than one campus, you are most welcome – just let us know and we will arrange transport for you on the day.
- Sunday 6 August: Warrnambool Campus
- Sunday 20 August: Waurn Ponds and Waterfront campuses
- Sunday 27 August: Burwood Campus.
Please note you must have a current employee Working with Children’s Check (WWCC), or be able to organise and pay to obtain one, in order for your final application to be successful.
