Lifts are temporarily unavailable on campus

Most lifts across the campuses have now come back into service.
We were advised on Tuesday 9 May that a Telstra outage has impacted all lifts across Deakin campuses.
Following further investigations this afternoon, all lifts across all campuses (excluding Deakin Residential Services) will remain shut down and unavailable until the issue is resolved.
Unfortunately, we have not been provided with a confirmed timeframe for the lifts to return online. If you need lift access, we advise you to consider studying from home tomorrow or to work out the most appropriate campus study location on the assumption lifts may not be available.
Signage is currently being installed on all lifts. If you need any help or have a question, please contact the Campus Support Office on 1800 062 579.
