Renting can be an overwhelming and confusing process at the best of times. It’s important to know your rights as a tenant so you don’t run into trouble or have property owners take advantage of you. We’ll give an overview of your rights as a renter and discuss some common issues like bond refunds.
Employment and scams: know your rights and how to avoid being scammed!
Wednesday 17 May, 1.30–3.30pm
We’ll discuss your rights as a worker, whether you’re an employee at a large organisation like Coles or Woolies, or an independent contractor working for a company like Uber. We’ll also talk about how to recognise and deal with scams.
