Share your fave song for our Fusion Festival global playlist – you could win headphones worth $129!
Did you know that Deakin welcomes students from more than 120 countries? This diversity is one of our greatest strengths. In fact, we think it’s worth celebrating – and we’re calling on you to help us do just that during Fusion Festival and Harmony Week!
Running from Monday 20 to Thursday 23 March, Fusion Festival is aligned with Harmony Week. It’s all about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone – from the traditional owners of this land to those who have come to Australia from many countries around the world.
Nothing says celebration more than music, so we’re creating a playlist that incorporates your favourite tracks from around the globe and showcases how diverse our student cohort is.
We’ll be launching the playlist on Monday 20 March. You’ll hear it in Student Central and at other locations across campus throughout Fusion Festival, and will also be able to download it for your study and party needs.
Even better, the first 100 students to submit a song will go into the draw to win a pair of JBL TUNE 710 wireless over-ear headphones worth $129, so hurry!
**Congratulations to Maya Tolliday, winner of the JBL headphones!**
