Important dates for Trimester 1 2023
Are you studying in Trimester 1 (T1)? Make sure you record some important dates, which include timetable and census dates, end of unit assessment periods, and University holidays and closure dates.
Key dates for T1
- Wednesday 15 February – STAR closes at 10am for sorting of timetable preferences
- Thursday 16 February – STAR re-opens at 10am for timetable viewing and adjustment
- Monday 27 February – Unit sites available in CloudDeakin
- Monday 27 February to Friday 3 March – OWeek
- Monday 6 March – Week 1 starts, teaching commences
- Friday 31 March – Census date (last day to finalise aspects of your enrolment and fee obligations for T1)
- Monday 24 April – Exam timetable released on StudentConnect
- Friday 7 April – Sunday 16 April – Easter vacation/Intra-trimester break
- Friday 28 April – Commonwealth Assistance Notices (eCAN) for T1 released on StudentConnect
- Monday 8 May – Last day to withdraw from a T1 unit with a Withdrawn Late (WL) listed on academic record
- Tuesday 9 May – Withdrawn Fail (WN) applies for all units withdrawn from this date
- Friday 26 May – T1 teaching period ends
- Monday 29 May – Friday 2 June – Study period
- Monday 5 June – Friday 16 June – End of unit assessment period
- Thursday 6 July – T1 results released
- Wednesday 19 July – T1 supplementary and special exam timetable released on StudentConnect
- Monday 31 July – Friday 4 August – T1 supplementary and special end of unit assessment period
