Soak up the fun with our summer events – you could also win tickets to the Australian Open!

What are you most looking forward to during the summer holidays? As we prepare to wind down for the end of 2022, it seems like we could all use some serious downtime after another big year.

That’s why we’re thrilled to finally bring you Deakin’s summer events calendar! We’ve lined up an exciting and diverse range of events in your local community to offer you free and fun experiences throughout Victoria to enjoy over the holidays. No matter what mood you’re going for this summer, you’ll find activities to help you relax, recharge and reconnect with others.

You can browse all events in the calendar, filter by events closest to your home campus, and/or search events within following categories.

Win a double pass to the Australian Open!

It doesn’t quite feel like January until you find yourself simultaneously blasting the air-con and tennis on the telly over long summer evenings. Melbourne well and truly comes alive during the Australian Open in the new year, and we want to get you there to experience the amazing vibe at Melbourne Park and Birrarung Marr for yourself!

We’re giving away eight double passes to the 2023 Australian Open (16 January), valued at $78 per double. These tickets are Ground Passes which will gain you and a friend access to the Australian Open entertainment precinct and the unreserved section of all courts (other than the show-courts, the Rod Laver Arena and Margaret Court Arena).
