Welcome to Trimester 3, 2022! Meet new friends and explore campus life at DUSA OFest
Are you new to Deakin in Trimester 3? Or perhaps you’re a continuing student who wants to make some new friends and see what your campus has to offer? We encourage you all to come check out what’s happening at OFest!
Hosted by the Deakin University Student Association (DUSA), OFest will run from 31 October–11 November as a series of on-campus and online social activities to celebrate OWeek, get you settled into the new study period, and have you enjoying good company, food and music.
The upcoming OFest events are free but may require registration – places get snapped up quickly, so register now! We’ll also be holding open events on campus so make sure you take some time to explore and stop by between your orientation activities and first classes.

Welcome Day lunch
Just starting out at Deakin in T3? Join us for lunch to meet other new students and explore your campus.
When and where: Monday 31 October, 12.30–2.30pm at Foo Moo Cafe, Level 2, Building BCC.
Art workshop
Meet your fellow students as you flex your creativity and create your own artwork.
When and where: Monday 7 November, 11.30am–1.30pm at the Main Stage on Morgan’s Walk.*
DUSA Free Food Pantry
Grab a bag of free fruit and vegetables at our last Free Food Pantry for 2022!
When and where: Wednesday 9 November, from 11am (until supplies run out) at Morgan’s Walk.*
