Important dates for Trimester 3, 2022
Are you studying in Trimester 3 (T3)? Make sure you record some important dates, which include timetable and census dates, exam periods, and University holidays and closure dates.
Key dates for T3
- Monday 24 October – STAR opens for timetable preference entry
- Monday 31 October – STAR closes at 10am for sorting of timetable preferences
- Monday 31 October to Friday 4 November – OWeek
- Monday 31 October – Unit sites available in CloudDeakin
- Tuesday 1 November – STAR re-opens at 10am for timetable viewing and adjustment
- Monday 7 November – Week 1 starts, teaching commences
- Monday 12 December – Exam timetable released on StudentConnect
- Thursday 15 December – Census date (last day to finalise aspects of your enrolment and fee obligations for T3)
- Thursday 22 December – University closes for shutdown period
- Thursday 22 December to Sunday 8 January 2023 – Intra-trimester break
- Thursday 5 January – University opens for 2023
- Thursday 12 January – Commonwealth Assistance Notices (eCAN) for T3 released on StudentConnect
- Monday 16 January – Last day to withdraw from a T3 unit with a Withdrawn Late (WL) listed on academic record
- Tuesday 17 January – Withdrawn Fail (WN) applies for all units withdrawn from this date
- Friday 3 February – T3 teaching period ends
- Monday 6 to Wednesday 8 February – Study period
- Thursday 9 to Friday 17 February – Exam period
- Thursday 2 March – T3 results released
- Monday 24 April – T3 supplementary and special exam timetable released on StudentConnect
- Monday 5 to Friday 16 June – T3 supplementary and special exam period
