Deakin is proud to be the match day partner for the Geelong Cats AFLW Pride Round, happening this Saturday at Ikon Park in Carlton.
The AFLW Pride Round is an initiative by the AFL to promote LGBTIQ+ inclusion, aimed at giving every player in the competition an opportunity to celebrate inclusiveness in football.
The Cats’ AFLW team will launch their new the Pride guernsey, developed in consultation with Geelong’s Pride Supporter Group, Proud2Play and Deakin.
