Wow – what a weekend! As a proud partner of the Geelong Cats, Deakin is thrilled to congratulate the 2022 Premiers on their momentous 81-point victory over the Sydney Swans in the 2022 AFL Grand Final.
After finishing the season at the top of the ladder, the seasoned Cats line-up made short work of their opponents, emerging as clear frontrunners in the first quarter before going on to claim the equal fifth-biggest grand final win in VFL/AFL history!

Join us in town tomorrow (Tuesday 27 September) for the 2022 AFL Premiers Street Parade to congratulate your spectacular Geelong squad. Hosted by the City of Greater Geelong, the parade will weave through various Waterfront and CBD locations – close to Deakin’s Waterfront Campus – before stopping past Steampacket Gardens for a final presentation.
