Stay sharp this exam period with a DeakinACTIVE routine

As the days get shorter and temperatures drop, it’s more important than ever to implement ways to keep moving every day, just like you would commit to a study routine. 

It’s well established that exercise improves mental health and cognitive function, so make sure you’re getting at least 30 minutes a day as you enter revision mode for the end of T1. Get moving for the fellas!

Join us as we celebrate Men’s Health Week (13–19 June)! Men’s Health Week focuses on not just on men’s physical health, but also their mental health and emotional wellbeing.

During the week, we’ll speak to a variety of men (students and staff) about their mental health and ask them to share the challenges either they or a friend have faced, where you can find help if you need it, and great tips and tricks to help you with your mental health. Stay tuned to our DeakinACTIVE Instagram and Facebook channels for updates!

Get strong, stay safe

Every Wednesday from 7–10am, DeakinACTIVE provides a Safe Space inside our facilities that is welcoming and accessible to all. We invite all students and staff who may be neurodivergent, part of our LGBTIQ+ community and/or who may have a mental or physical disability, to come and train with us at no cost and with no obligations.
