Playing in their first Grand Final for five years, and looking for their first WNBL Championship in a decade, elite-athlete students Ezi Magbegor and Lily Scanlon will be giving it their all as they look to secure a Deakin Melbourne Boomers premiership against the Perth Lynx.
Named last week as the 2021/22 WNBL Betty Watson Australian Youth Player of the Year, Ezi will be flanked by fellow Australian Opals teammates Tess Madgen and current 2022 Boomers captain Cayla George, who recently celebrated her 300th game ahead of this week’s final showdown.
