How could you improve your learning and wellbeing in 2022? Attend the THRIVE: Wellbeing and study success sessions

Are you new to university this year? Perhaps you’re continuing this trimester and wondering how you can fine-tune your focus and tackle your studies more efficiently? Now that we’re ready to resume campus life in 2022 (hooray!), it’s the perfect time to reflect on what you’ve learned about yourself over the past two years and apply these insights to maximise your study potential in T1/S1 and beyond.

We’ve created a series of virtual workshops to equip you with the essential skills you’ll need to succeed and get the most out of yourself and your Deakin studies! The THRIVE: Wellbeing and study success sessions has been developed based on identified student needs and established psychological theories. Delivered in partnership with the Faculty of Health, the sessions are available for all Deakin students this study period to help you thrive in your studies.

The THRIVE: Wellbeing and study success sessions will be facilitated in T1/S1 by Atticus Gray, who graduated from Deakin University with a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and is currently completing his PhD. Atticus delivers seminars at Deakin across a variety of Psychology undergraduate units and is passionate about effective teaching. He loves games of all sorts and facilitates social learning through role-playing games. His hobby is pursuing self-education and he has embraced online learning.

Take a look below at the sessions available to see how you could develop and refine your personal and professional skills this year.
