Restrictions to ease across Victoria from 6pm tonight, Friday 29 October
In line with the government roadmap and with Victoria about to reach the 80% double vaccination milestone for people aged 16+, we’ll see a significant easing of restrictions from 6pm tonight, Friday 29 October.
Our campuses are now open to fully vaccinated staff, students, and visitors. In line with government advice, some restrictions will remain in place until we hit the 90% vaccination target.
Remember that Victorians will need to show proof of vaccination to gain entry to most businesses and services reopening across the state. Find out how to get your COVID-19 digital certificate.
How restrictions are easing
- Regional Victoria and metropolitan Melbourne come together under the same rules.
- Masks are only required inside.
- Campuses reopen to students and staff who are fully vaccinated or have an approved exemption. Read more about when and how our campuses will reopen.
- Continue to study and work from home if you can.
- 10 visitors are permitted to your home.
- All retail is open.
For more details on the changed restrictions, see the Victorian Government Roadmap.
