Two heads are better than one: learn how mentoring relationships can boost your career in this webinar series

Interested in expanding your networks, gaining insights from industry experts and sharing knowledge with other Deakin students and graduates?

Deakin Launch Network are hosting a ‘Networking Mindset’ webinar series to provide you and your alumni peers opportunities to connect, develop your networking skills, and learn with and from each other. Each episode will have a distinct theme and feature guest speakers who will share their unique professional insights.

The next webinar in the series will focus on how to understand, gain and strengthen mentoring relationships.

How could a mentoring relationship benefit you?

Mentoring relationships can provide valuable career and academic support for both mentors and mentees. They are a chance to enhance your career journey and gain more from your studies, and can help you develop networks and networking skills by connecting you with industry professionals or more experienced peers who can provide you valuable advice, exposure and support.

For our latest webinar we have invited two guest speakers, Karen E. Powell and Julia Gibney, to provide industry insights. You will have the opportunity to participate in a live Q&A session, and gain tips on how to build and participate in effective mentoring relationships. There will also be ample opportunities to share your own experiences and learn from other students and alumni.
