Important dates for Trimester 2, 2021
Trimester 2 (T2) isn’t far away. To help you prepare and feel in control as you study, it’s a good idea to record some important dates. These include timetable and census dates, exam periods and University holidays.
Key dates for T2
- Monday 21 June – STAR opens for timetable preference entry
- Wednesday 30 June – STAR closes for sorting of preferences
- Thursday 1 July – STAR re-opens for timetable viewing and adjustment
- Monday 5 to Friday 9 July – OWeek
- Monday 12 July – Week 1, classes commence
- Sunday 15 August – Census date (last day to finalise aspects of your enrolment and fee obligations for T2)
- Monday 16 to Sunday 22 August – Intra-trimester break
- Monday 30 August – Exam timetable released on StudentConnect
- Sunday 12 September – Commonwealth Assistance Notices (eCAN) for T2 released on StudentConnect
- Monday 13 September – Last day to withdraw from a T2 unit with a Withdrawn Late (WL) listed on academic record
- Monday 14 September – Withdrawn Fail (WN) applies for all units withdrawn from this date
- Friday 24 September – AFL Grand Final Friday public holiday* (University closed)
*Subject to AFL schedule - Friday 1 October – T2 teaching period ends
- Monday 4 to Friday 8 October – Study period
- Monday 11 to Friday 22 October – Exam period
- Monday 25 October to Friday 5 November – Inter-trimester break
- Tuesday 2 November – Melbourne Cup Day (University open)
- Friday 5 November – T2 results released
- Monday 13 December – Supplementary and special exam timetable for T2 released on StudentConnect
- Thursday 10 to Friday 18 February 2022 – T2 supplementary and special exam period
