Fitness meets fun: join the new season of DeakinPLAY social sport competitions!

Did you know DeakinACTIVE hosts a range of DeakinPLAY activities and social sport competitions throughout the year? It’s a great way for you to have fun and get fit while hanging out with your friends and classmates. We’ll be kicking off the new season of DeakinPLAY social sport in July for Trimester 2, and we’d love you to join us!

Choose a sport below that best matches your interests and register now to join us for DeakinPLAY in July! We’re holding eleven-week rounds of netball, basketball, and badminton social competitions next trimester, and we welcome participants of all ages and abilities.

You’re welcome to gather a group of friends and register your own team, or sign yourself up and we’ll add you to a team looking for individual players of similar experience. Competitions take place on campus after 6pm on the evenings listed below. These weeknightly games are the perfect way to stay fit, stay sharp and connect with your fellow students while participating in some good-natured competition!

Burwood: Monday 12 July – Wednesday 29 September

Waurn Ponds: Tuesday 13 July – Thursday 30 September

To register for DeakinPLAY:

Once you’ve registered via the Sports Portal, you’ll receive an email with a link to our competition registration form. Complete this form to finalise your registration and secure your spot in the competition. If you’d like to register as an individual please complete the submission form on the DeakinPLAY webpage.
