Do you have what it takes to win a global scholarship worth $US5000?

In a COVID world, issues of social justice, global health and global citizenship have never been more important. And neither has the talent, passion and hard work of uni students like you – students who will become the leaders of tomorrow.

If your study relates to any of these themes, we encourage you to apply for one of seven global scholarships. Awarded by the Flywire Charitable Foundation, which is committed to improving access to quality education and healthcare, each scholarship is worth $US5000 (AUD$6400).

How it works

The scholarships are open to undergraduate and postgraduate students worldwide. To apply, you’ll need to choose your theme – social justice, global health or global citizenship – and:

    1. Tell us about yourself: what are you studying and at what university?
    2. What hurdles have you had to overcome to pursue your studies?
    3. What do you hope to achieve with your education and how does it relate to the theme of the scholarship you have selected?

Submissions will be evaluated by the Flywire Charitable Foundation committee and a group of diverse Flywire volunteers from around the world.

Applications close at 1.59pm AEST on Tuesday 22 June. Winners will be notified on Tuesday 27 July, with any winning funds distributed via Deakin in the first week of August.

Good luck!
