The Deakin community is united in support of our Indian students and staff

Our Indian students and staff are a very important part of the Deakin community. We would like to offer our full support during the catastrophic worsening of the COVID-19 situation that is currently unfolding in India.

The majority of our Indian students who were located in Australia at the beginning of the pandemic have remained here. During the last 12 months, we’ve also welcomed many new students who began their study with us from overseas.

Our thoughts and concerns are with our students located both in Australia and in India, as well as their families. If you need any support during this extremely challenging time, we encourage you to reach out by accessing the following services and resources.

Enrolment support

You can access a range of enrolment support, including course and unit advice, full-time and part-time study options, and intermission and visa compliance advice. Contact Student Central to discuss any concerns with your enrolment.

Academic and study support

We want to help all students to achieve their study outcomes and goals. A range of fantastic assignment help is available through our Study Support resources and programs. If you need an assignment extension or want to discuss special consideration, contact the relevant academic teaching team in your unit site.
