Explore your online library in Part 1 of our ‘Library Basics’ series

Are you in your first trimester at Deakin or returning to study after a break? We’ve got you covered. Each week, we’re sharing a library tip, tool or service we think you should know about. The library is key to your success at  uni – make the most of everything we have to offer by following our Library Basics!

Now is the perfect time to get to know your online library.

If you are looking for textbooks, research articles or videos, the library website gives you access to millions of digital resources – everything you need to complete your assignments and studies.

Have questions about the library or our services? Reach out to us via live Library Chat and talk to a staff member right away. You can also check out our Skills for study page to find lots of great tips and tutorials on making a strong start in your course. This page will also help you develop your digital literacy skills to find, evaluate, use and share information.

Finally, don’t hesitate to find and reach out to your Liaison Librarian. Liaisons specialise in each faculty and can offer you more personalised advice and support in your studies.
