Let's get started Harmony Week

5 March 2021

Share your fave song for our Harmony Week global playlist – and you could win $100!

Did you know that Deakin welcomes students from more than 120 countries? This diversity is one of our greatest strengths. In fact, we think it’s worth celebrating and we’re calling on you to help us do just that during Harmony Week!

Running from Monday 15 to Sunday 21 March, Harmony Week is about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone – from the traditional owners of this land to those who have come from many countries around the world. This year’s theme ‘Everyone belongs’ sums it up perfectly!

Nothing says celebration more than music, so we want to create a playlist for Harmony Week 2021 that incorporates your favourite tracks from around the globe and showcases how diverse our student cohort is!

We’ll be launching the playlist on Monday 15 March. You’ll hear it in Student Central and at other locations across campus throughout the week, and will also be able to download it for your study and party needs!

Even better, the first 100 students to submit a song will go into the draw to win a $100 Visa gift card, so hurry!

How to enter

All you have to do is submit your favourite song using the form below and we’ll add it to our Spotify playlist. You’ve got until 3pm on Friday 12 March to tell us your go-to tune.

Any songs with explicit references or profanity will be excluded from the final playlist, so keep it clean!
