Lockdown has lifted and on-campus activity will resume
We are pleased to confirm campus access will be available from tomorrow, Thursday 18 February, with the Victorian Premier lifting the five-day circuit-breaker lockdown from 11.59pm tonight. Read more about the latest updates.
From tomorrow, we will resume all scheduled on-campus teaching and learning activities and research, with the same level of on-campus activity that preceded the lockdown. Fieldwork, student placements and work integrated learning can also resume, subject to host organisation arrangements.
As we resume on-campus activity please follow all COVIDSafe measures, including:
- Self-check and stay home if you’re unwell – use the Symptom Checker and follow the testing and quarantine guidance
- Wear your face mask indoors as required and outdoors when you cannot maintain physical distancing
- Book a space – if you are attending a campus to study, make sure you book your place in advance
- COVIDSafe Check-in – record your attendance in on-campus locations through the COVIDSafe check-in QR codes
- Maintain good hand hygiene and use the hand sanitiser available
- Respect revised space capacities in study spaces, cafes and rooms
- Maintain 1.5m physical distance from others wherever possible
- Conduct catch-ups outside where possible.
