Looking for a study space away from home? Eastern Regional Library locations now have eduroam

Are you located in the outer-eastern suburbs of Melbourne and looking for a quiet space to study away from home?

We are pleased to announce a partnership with the Eastern Regional Libraries network to provide access to eduroam at several Eastern Regional Library locations, including at the Box Hill Lilydale campus.

What is eduroam?

eduroam is a free Wi-Fi network that provides fast and secure access to your Deakin University learning materials and support services. This is the same network you would have used if you’ve attended a Deakin Learning Centre before.

Why is eduroam now available at Eastern Regional Libraries?

Deakin is collaborating with Eastern Regional Libraries to provide you eduroam at several library locations following the recent closure of the Lilydale Learning Centre.

This new partnership will allow you additional study support in the form of a dedicated study space away from home if you’re located in or around the Lilydale area in metropolitan Melbourne.

So how do I access eduroam at a Eastern Regional Library?

You can now access eduroam using your Deakin email address and password at any time during the library’s opening hours. Support for this service is available from library staff and Deakin IT Help.

Find your closest Eastern Regional Library today!

Eastern Regional Libraries include locations across three outer-eastern metropolitan councils – Knox, Maroondah and Yarra Ranges. Details of each location can be found on the Eastern Regional Libraries website.
