Deakin Library can help you find resources you need while studying remotely
While you’re studying online, we’re offering a few different ways you can still embrace all that Deakin Library has to offer from home:
- Access a wide range of e-books, journals, videos and other online resources through our website.
- Contact us through Library Chat or by telephone or email.
- Your faculty Liaison Librarians are offering online consultations if needed.
Library hours and changes due to COVID-19 are regularly updated on the library homepage and individual campus pages:
At the moment, only Deakin students and staff permitted to visit campus are allowed in our campus libraries. Please ensure you bring your Deakin Card ID with you. We strongly encourage you to book a space ahead of your visit, as capacity guidelines will be strictly followed.
When you arrive at the library, you will need to scan a QR code to sign in and assist with the University’s mandatory contact tracing efforts. All students coming to campus should be aware of the guidelines outlined in Deakin’s COVID-19 FAQs.
Please remember that masks/face coverings are now mandatory in all public spaces across Victoria, which includes Deakin campuses.
The service desks will remain closed for staff safety, but you can contact us on Library Chat or by phone or email during open hours.
