Are you permitted to come to campus? Please help us keep Deakin COVIDSafe

It’s been impressive to witness that most students who are permitted on campus are helping us to maintain COVIDSafe learning spaces and protect the community – thank you!

We all have a part to play in keeping Deakin COVIDSafe

As we continue to gradually welcome more students and staff back to campus, a condition of entry to visit Deakin campuses includes wearing a face covering and following other rules relating to hygiene and physical distancing restrictions.

In particular, wearing a face covering is a legal requirement – unless you meet the specific conditions that exempt you from wearing one – as well as an important behaviour we can adhere to in stopping the spread of COVID-19.

Keep an eye out for COVIDSafe Ambassadors on campus

COVIDSafe Ambassadors are here to help on our regional campuses by providing advice and instructions on how you can follow health and safety protocols while you’re visiting campus. They’re equipped with the knowledge to help Deakin manage the return of face-to-face learning activity, and so it’s important that you respect their position by listening to them and acting on any advice they may give you.

Looking for help?

If you have scheduled on-campus classes and need to clarify your understanding of current restrictions, please visit the Deakin’s COVIDSafe FAQs page. These FAQs are updated regularly to provide you with the latest information.

And if you see any behaviour that concerns you while you’re on campus? You can report this directly to the security team on 1800 062 579.

Thank you for your efforts in keeping us all safe and good luck for the remainder of your T2/S2 studies!
