Our purpose is to enable the success of all Deakin students by developing and providing diverse, practical and efficient services, resources and facilities.
Completing a Higher Degree by Research (HDR) involves a lot of time spent writing and engaging in quiet, reflective study. As we continue with remote learning into Trimester 2/Semester 2, it’s important for your health and wellbeing that you make time to relax and connect with your fellow HDR peers.
This is why we encourage you to join The Social Corner to meet new friends, learn new skills, or just have a laugh!
What is The Social Corner?
The Social Corner, run by Deakin University’s Student Association (DUSA), is a fun way to connect online with other HDR students, make new friends, and get some tips and tricks for succeeding at uni during your HDR studies. Your friendly HDR leaders and International Student Advisors will be there to answer any questions you might have.
This online event will be run in U Belong Week, a week all about celebrating diversity and inclusiveness. No matter who you are, you belong.
