Important dates for Trimester 2, 2020

Welcome to Trimester 2! As you study online this trimester, it’s a good idea to plan ahead. Note down the important dates below to help you stay organised.

If you’re undertaking one of our semester, HDR or Start Anytime programs, you can find all your key dates in the 2020 University Handbook, along with a full list of fee and enrolment dates.

Wednesday 1 July – STAR closes 10am for sorting of preferences

Thursday 2 July – STAR re-opens 10am for timetable viewing and adjustment

Monday 6 to Friday 10 July – OWeek

Monday 13 July – Week 1, classes commence

Saturday 15 August – Census date (last day to finalise aspects of your enrolment and fee obligations for T2)

Monday 17 until Sunday 23 August – Intra-trimester break

Monday 31 August – Exam timetable released on StudentConnect

Friday 11 September – Commonwealth Assistance Notices for T2 released on StudentConnect

Sunday 13 September – Last day to withdraw from T2 with a Withdrawn Late (WL) listed on academic record

Monday 14 September – Withdrawn Fail (WN) applies for all units withdrawn from this date

Friday 25 September – AFL Grand Final Friday public holiday
*To be rescheduled (University open)

Friday 2 October – T2 teaching period ends

Monday 5 until Friday 9 October – Study period

Monday 12 October – Exams begin

Friday 23 October – Exams end

Monday 26 October until Friday 6 November – Inter-trimester break

Tuesday 3 November – Melbourne Cup Day (University open)

Friday 6 November – T2 results released at 6pm

Monday 14 December – Supplementary and special exam timetable for T2 released on StudentConnect

Thursday 11 February 2021 – Supplementary and special exams for T2 begin
