Join the VC at Deakin’s first ‘faculty vs faculty’ online trivia night hosted by DUSA

UPDATE: Due to unforeseen circumstances this event is postponed until the start of Trimester 2.

How are you passing the time these days? Finished binge-watching Tiger King? Looking for a fun night in?

Why not test your wits by joining Deakin’s online trivia night on 27 May. We’ve wrangled an exciting mix of guest presenters and will form official teams based on the faculty you belong to, so let’s all put our heads together and see which faculty emerges as the proud winner!

Introducing our hosting panel

Tiarnan Cleary, your President of Deakin University’s Student Association (DUSA), will host the evening and will be joined by a special panel of presenters to get the questions rolling.

What’s in it for me, you ask?

We’ve scoured the stash of goodies in our vault for some random spot prizes to give away during the evening. You’ll also share in some good laughs with good people and you might even learn a thing or two. And, if your team wins, you’ll earn plenty of kudos and bragging rights for your faculty!

Some rules, however…

The event will adopt a family-friendly tone so in the spirit of making the evening enjoyable for all, we ask that you keep the competition light and fun. Disruptive behaviours or hecklers won’t be tolerated, and remember it’s a University event so you must still comply with Deakin’s student Code of Conduct and Rights and Responsibilities throughout your attendance.

Register now!

What are you waiting for? Join us for some iso-friendly fun and games and register for Deakin’s online trivia night now. Don’t delay – registrations close on Monday 25 May and places may be limited on your team due to demand within faculties. We’ll provide you the link to the event once your registration is confirmed.

See you there!
