It’s now even easier to make a counselling appointment – online bookings are here!

Trying to balance the pressures of study and other life commitments isn’t always easy. It’s not uncommon for uni students to experience feelings of stress or anxiety at some point during their studies. And the changed financial, domestic, academic and social circumstances we’ve been faced with due to COVID-19 mean that now, more than ever, we need to look after our mental health and wellbeing.

Deakin’s Counselling and Psychological Services (CAPS) team is here to help you work through any issues that may be affecting your mental health. Our highly qualified psychologists and social workers are experts in student mental health. We offer free and confidential sessions to Deakin students to help you optimise your mental health.

Ready to talk? Online bookings make it simple

You can now book a counselling appointment at the touch of a button – book online now. During the COVID‑19 pandemic, we’re still available for both phone and video consultations.

Find out more about us, including how to make an appointment, what to expect in your first session, and information about confidentiality and privacy.

Other online help is available through our Ask Counselling blog, which contains questions asked by Deakin students and answered by CAPS counsellors. You can browse the questions by topics, such as anxietyloneliness or family problems, or ask a question yourself. All questions and responses are anonymous to ensure confidentiality and privacy.
