How do you keep track of your notes and plan your assignments? We’ve put together a list of some of the different University resources and apps recommended by Deakin that you can use to get the most out of your online studies.
Digital study tools
Here are some of our favourite digital study tools for you to explore:
- GoConqr is an online learning platform that allows you to tailor your learning experience for your own personal needs. You can organise your notes into slides, use templates to build mind maps and create flashcards and quizzes to prepare for exams.
- Evernote is a note-taking app you can use to organise your quotations and keep track of what texts you’ve used.
- EndNote is a software tool that helps you find, store, create, share and manage bibliographies. You can learn more about how to use the app with EndNote training.
You can learn more about other useful apps on the digital study tools academic skills guide.
Study Support has some great guides you can use to hone your academic skills. In the lead up to exams, take a look at the guide to exam preparation to get some revision tips and find information on how to manage your exams.
Planning is a huge part of study success. The Deakin assignment planner will take your assessment topic and due date and produce a timeline of what you need to accomplish and when. You’ll receive a copy of this timeline in an email, along with a list of next steps and suggested links to other valuable resources.
You can also use our study workload planner to build a study schedule that works for you.
